OlimpiadasHe ayudado a empezar y poner las bases de funcionamiento de la Olimpiada de Biología en España, y represento a España en la International Biology Olympiad, desde 2007. He dirigido campus científicos y otras actividades de verano, como campos de trabajo con jóvenes en numerosos países, construyendo escuelas y poniendo en marcha programas de desarrollo diversos. Estudios de investigación desarrollados independientemente y premiados en certámenes de investigación nacionales e internacionales
He desarrollado muchos proyectos de investigación que han recibido más de 35 premios en España, Reino Unido, Europa y el Mundo.
Los 3 más premiados han sido:
- Estudio del efecto de los Campos Electromagnéticos de baja frecuencia en el desarrollo embrionario de Petunia sp., Danio rerio y Drosophila melanogaster.
Proyecto premiado en varios certámenes universitarios, así como ganador del Segundo premio en el certamen nacional de Jóvenes Investigadores, organizado por el Ministerio de Educación. 2009.
- Diseño innovador de una pila de combustible microbiano de muy bajo coste y alto voltaje. Descubrimiento de dos especies de bacterias electrogénicas.
Proyecto que en 2012 representó a España en la Fase mundial de EUCYS (European Union Contest for Young Scientists), y fue ganador del Primer premio en el certamen nacional de Jóvenes Investigadores, organizado por el Ministerio de Educación.
- Producción de celulosa microbiana utilizando el consorcio bacteriano del Kombucha.
Proyecto ganador de Primer premio del mundo en la First Lego League.
